From the Washington Poison Center (WAPC) findings, about 50% of older adults who called WAPC did so due to taking medications twice, taking the wrong medication, taking an incorrect dose, etc. This presentation will give strategies to properly manage and safely store personal medications, and discuss options on how to dispose of medications properly. An overview of all of the free services the WAPC provides will also be discussed.
