High Tea: Talking With Doctors: Empowering Yourself

April 19 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

How can you advocate effectively during a short medical appointment? We’ll discuss three domains of medical information, and ways to address each of them.
• Receiving too much medical care can harm you, but it’s common. How can you avoid it?
• How much will treatment cost? Many doctors are reluctant to discuss that. How can you break the silence?
• What are your end-of-life values? Here’s a practical way to decide, and to tell your doctors.
