This class is taught by Naomi Scher and Nia is a joyous fusion of dance, healing arts, and martial arts. We dance to emotional music, with a focus on how the movement feels in our body. No dance experience is required. Nia uses techniques from three healing arts: the FELDENKRAIS Method, the Alexander technique, and yoga. The routines are designed to gently expand your range of motion, improve your
balance, and move every joint in your body. We work on flexibility, agility, strength, stability, and mobility – but we do it at your body’s speed and rhythm.
