Our Growing Effort. NEST is now 180 members and 140 volunteers strong. With a monthly average of 600 volunteer hours, 130 rides, and 40 programs, we can rest assured that NEST is working.

Our Winter Giving Campaign Light Up Our Community begins on December 3, coinciding with Giving Tuesday – a global day of giving celebrated on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Click here to make a donation online or mail your donation to our office at PO Box 51009, Seattle, WA 98115.

Your support matters. Membership dues cover less than 40% of our operating costs, and we rely on the generosity of friends like you to ensure that NEST is here to stay and is a permanent part of our community. Your donation will allow us to engage more volunteers, organize a wider variety of programs, and give personal attention to every member request.

What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
Created in 2012 by the team at the Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact at the 92nd Street Y in New York City, Giving Tuesday connects diverse groups of individuals, communities and organizations around the world for one common purpose: to celebrate and encourage giving.

How do I make my gift?
Your gift to NEST is welcome online at any time using a credit card. Click here for information on how to donate from your IRA.
If you would like assistance making a payment with your credit card, please call the NEST Office at 206-525-6378. Donations can also be mailed to PO Box 51009, Seattle, WA 98115, or dropped off at the office at 8008 35th Ave NE.

What is a Matching Gift?
Many companies will make a donation to match their employees’ gifts – even after you’re retired! Contact your employer’s Human Resources or Accounting department to learn how you can double or triple your impact.

Is my gift tax-deductible?
Your donation is 100% tax-deductible. All individuals who make a donation to NEST will receive a tax receipt in the mail.
