High Tea: Being Fit in More Ways with More Joy*

Let’s get our blood moving with some simply choreographed songs that work both standing and
seated. Bring your playfulness, and follow the plan or dance your own dance. Then we’ll transition
into Tai Chi, using the Shibashi 18 seated form which is easy to learn and follow as well as being
effective at expanding our internal chi. We’ll limber up a bit, then practice the form once to learn it and
then again to go deeper.
Mariah Kaye’s favorite credential is Senior Fitness Specialist, because those words also sum up her
passion. Taking on the personal challenge of becoming more fit (in more ways, with more joy) as she
ages, it gives Mariah great joy to share what she’s learning with as many of her peers as possible.
She hopes that her enthusiasm is incurably infectious! And YOU get to add the social dimension that
makes it all even more worthwhile.
