High Tea: Creating Compassion*

Speaker Candy Wright will discuss basics about how the brain is wired to default to resist, react, and avoid things in our lives and the emotions around them. The great news is that NOTHING IS WRONG WITH YOU when you do this. It just means you have a human brain. We’ll discuss ways to help you access self-compassion and why it’s the key to working with the instinct to react, resist, or avoid our emotions. Candy will give you 2 simple tools to use instead of the react, resist, and avoid default instincts questions so you can love yourself and come away with a great takeaways you can start using today!
Candy Wright Burgoyne, M.A. is a certified Life & Weight Loss Coach, a certified Relationship and Healing Coach, Public Speaker and Workshop Leader. Candy is a former public educator, Spanish & ESL teacher, corporate manager, trainer, and fitness instructor. She has a bachelors and post grad work in Education and a master’s in organizational management. She loves learning, people, and her 32 nieces and nephews and new step-granddaughter.
