Restorative Exercise *

Come learn a series of simple concepts and practical corrective exercises you can do
anywhere to improve biomechanical alignment. Experience targeted exercises that
wake up and use the muscles we often neglect. Based on Katy Bowman’s Dynamic
Aging book, this whole-body approach helps improve balance, prevent pain, and
increase range of motion and energy! Chair or floor modifications adjust for desired
level of difficulty. Please bring a rolled bath towel or yoga mat, and a tennis ball or
medium sized stone/pebble. Most exercises are conducted barefoot for maximum
benefit, and each class begins with foot mobility warm-ups. The Choir Room is located
on the lower level of Wedgwood Presbyterian Church – please contact the NEST office
for accessibility information.
