May is National Senior Health and Fitness month! Join NEST's guest speaker, Brenda K. Lowes, MS, CFT, SSF, for a presention on the importance of exercise and changes in the body for the aging population, goals to maintain independence, and some important (seated) exercises you can do at home.
Brenda Lowes is a senior fitnes specialist. She has over 16 years experience working with older adults along with their physical therapist in current and post physical therapy. She focuses on maintaining daily living activities, fall risk reduction and overall strength which is essential to both. Brenda has a great deal of experience with a wide variety of physical limitations and isexcited to help anyone maintain their independence.
Note: There is a $10 recommended donation for non-members.
