Get your wiggle-and-move on in new dance classes offered by Dance! Eclectic. We teach partnered social dance classes and hold a weekly dance, right in the neighborhood, for people just like you. Classes include styles in swing, salsa, waltz, blues and more. We teach the kind of dancing you see in pubs, clubs, bars, community centers, at family gatherings, street fairs and wedding receptions — dancing just for the fun of it. Our classes are relaxed, easy-going, and lots of fun!

Dance Workshop in Walking Blues: If you can walk, you already know the basics of Walking Blues. It’s “just walking”—crazy walking, but walking, just the same—to Blues music with a strong (not fast), steady beat. We’ll start at the very beginning by walking and proceed from there. Please wear or bring clean, smooth-soled shoes that do not leave black marks on the floor, to dance in. No tennis shoes/sneakers unless that is a necessity for you (they grip the floor too much). If you must wear
sneaker-type shoes, bring the oldest, most worn-out pair you have, with the least amount of tread or “stick". Masks are required and please bring a water bottle for hydration.
