About this event
NEST is excited to welcome back Silver Denton, a highly respected physical therapist from the UW Medical Center, for another informative session on fall prevention. As we move into the season of rain, slick streets, and leaf-covered sidewalks, it's more important than ever to be mindful of the potential hazards in our surroundings. Fall prevention is a critical topic, especially as we age, and NEST is committed to the health and safety of our members, volunteers, and the wider community.
During this session, Silver Denton will focus on improving balance and demonstrating practical strategies to reduce the risk of falls, helping everyone stay safe at home and out in the community. Silver’s expertise in geriatrics and her passion for empowering individuals to take control of their wellbeing make her a valuable resource. We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn from her again, as she shares tips on making simple yet effective changes that promote safer living environments. Don't miss this chance to hear from Silver and take proactive steps to enhance your safety.
