About this event
Boosting your brain health can improve its function by enhancing concentration and memory, lowering your risk of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, as well as promoting mental health through decreasing chronic stress, increasing feelings of well-being, and warding off depression. Linda Rudat, Client Care Supervisor for Family Resource Home Care will present on "Strategies for Brain Fitness," covering 4 known brain boosters all of us can employ to maintain cognitive health. This will be interactive, so be ready to try some of the strategies together!
Linda has worked in elder care since 1991, wearing a variety of hats in client care management, human resources, and marketing and outreach. She has also served as the Executive Director of a Memory Care/Assisted Living Community. Linda began doing elder care when a family member had a sudden health crisis, and she found that she loved being an advocate for seniors and a resource for family members. She currently serves as a Client Care Supervisor for the Seattle branch of Family Home Resources.
