The Educational Presentation will focus upon some of the estate planning basic documents for persons living in Washington State, what a Durable Power of Attorney-Health and Durable Power of Attorney-Financial are; what a Living Will/Medical Directive is; what an Authorization to Release Protected Healthcare Information is; what Funeral and Burial Instructions are; and Wills/Trusts, and what happens if a person in Washington dies and does not have a Will and to whom the assets could be disbursed to.
Jonathan L. Bowman is the managing partner of Jonathan L. Bowman, Attorney at Law, PS; a Seattle, WA law firm which focuses on Estate Planning, Elder Law, Probate, Real Estate Law, Business Law, and Marital & Domestic Relations matters. Mr. Bowman is a graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law and has been a member of the Washington State Bar Association since November 19, 1993. Mr. Bowman guest lectures for various groups and organizations on Estate Planning and Domestic Relations matters, including the Washington State Bar Association and the King County Bar Association. Mr. Bowman is the Treasurer for the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section of the King County Bar Association.
