As we age, deciding where and how to live can be challenging. If staying home feels overwhelming, moving in with adult children isn’t feasible, and retirement facilities don’t appeal, consider cohousing. Imagine a group of peers creating a community of homes with shared amenities, where mutual support enhances everyone’s lives. Join us as Sandy Wood explores cohousing for older adults and shares efforts to establish a senior cohousing community in North Seattle. Bring your curiosity and questions!

Sandy Wood, a senior passionate about cohousing, has built careers in psychology, community development, and affordable housing. She has embraced shared housing for much of her adult life and envisions aging in a supportive community of peers.
